I am a Malaysian filmmaker presently based in the UAE, and I am interested in making documentary films that delve into questions of multiculturalism and cultural identity — an interest informed by my upbringing between Malaysia and China. I obtained my undergraduate degree at New York University Abu Dhabi, and I aspire to use film to elevate Southeast Asian narratives to the international stage.
